- “Lifted” won Best Short Film at the Roxbury Film Fest, New England’s biggest festival for Urban Films.
- 2007-2008 Screenings of “Pop Foul”, directed by Moon Molson: Urban World Vibe Film Festival, American Black Film Festival (Miami/LA), Method Fest, Miami Film Festival, Indianapolis International Film Festival, and Palm Spring Film Festival.
- Awards for “Pop Foul”: 2006 Student Academy Award, HBO Short Film Award at 2006 American Black Film Festival, Best Short at the Palm Springs Film Festival, and REEL shorts jury prize at South by SouthWest (SxSW). Moon Molson, was also featured in the magazine, CinemaWithoutBorders, in his interview he mentions Liz Ortiz-Mackes as his casting director. (see link below)

Liz Ortiz-Mackes was interviewed for the revised 2007 edition of Mari Lynn Henry’s book, “How to Be a Working Actor”. Mari Lynn Henry’s book was released Dec 2007. Liz is quoted twice in the book. There was a January 2008 reading, and book signing at Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Center NYC, featuring Liz Ortiz-Mackes, Mari Lynn Henry, Lynne Rogers, and Margaret Emory.

Liz was part of a radio panel with Susan Sidelman, Larry Gebhart and Helen Mirren for KPCC 89.3 Radio Station in LA, aired December 2006.
- Cahill Connolly photographed the New York screening of “The Pursuit of Happyness”, and gala honoring Chris Gardner hosted by New Heritage Theatre Group.
- Cahill was the still photographer for the feature film “I Believe in America”. An article about the director/writer Michael Narvaez was featured in The Sunday New York Times, Arts & Leisure section on Sunday Nov. 6 th, 2005. One of Cahill Connolly’s still photographs from the film was published along side the article.
